0.6ml Belotero Lips Shape - £175

We use the filler range from Merz known as Belotero. This is such a beautiful product which gives lovely, soft, natural results.

Correctly placed filler should not look like filler. It should look like beautiful, natural lips.

How do we avoid an obvious, 'duck-lip', or 'sausage - lip'? 

We would usually not recommend using more than the 0.6ml syringe in one sitting to avoid complications like filler spreading beyond the lip borders. When this happens we can all recognise it, and it get's called 'duck-lips'

Putting filler in the edges of the lips causes rounding of the corners , so avoiding putting filler here allows for nicer sharper corners to the lips, avoiding the 'sausage' look that we all recognise.

Lip filler treatments can be repeated 2-4 weeks following initial treatment if we feel you would benefit from more volume. It is easier to add more, than it is to remove a little.

Lip filler is a very well tolerated procedure, and is most commonly done using numbing cream. The lip filler itself contains local anaesthetic which helps with pain relief once we get started.

Most patients would say the idea is worse than the reality!

If pain during the procedure is a major concern, we can use a dental block to make it pain free

If you're very nervous of the pain, we can use the same injections used at the dentist for fillings etc. This involves 4 tiny injections inside the mouth which will very quickly, and very effectively numb the area so you won't feel a thing.

This add on treatment is £10, and takes around 4 hours to wear off. So don't make any important plans straight after!
